Our UK Apprenticeship Programme is an 18-month programme based in Edinburgh & London which provides the opportunity for recent school leavers to earn as they learn. 

Starting in October 2024, Apprentices will be fully immersed in our business, working alongside experts in the industry, as well as receiving ongoing professional and on-the-job training. We’re looking for ambitious students who are eager to advance their careers, obtain practical experience and achieve an industry-recognised qualification.

On successful completion of the programme, Apprentices will have the opportunity to receive an offer to join BlackRock as a full-time employee.

London

• Opportunities are available in Business Management, Client Experience, Compliance, ETF & Index Investing, Investment Operations, Portfolio Management, Product Marketing & Sales & Relationship Management.
• You will be studying towards a Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist qualification.
• Eligibility: 3 A levels, grade C and above, and a grade 4 at Maths & English Language GCSE (or equivalent qualification)

Edinburgh

• Opportunities are available in Data Operations and Investment Operations.
• You will be studying towards a SCQF Level 6 Providing Financial Services qualification.
• Eligibility: NAT 5, pass in English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent qualification)

As part of your application, you will be able to select up to two teams you would like to be considered for.

Once you’ve submitted your online application, you will be asked to complete a virtual cover letter. Think of this as an opportunity to give us your elevator pitch – it is not an interview but it will be considered along with your CV. The virtual cover letter must be completed within 5 calendar days of submitting your initial application, for each business area that you apply for.
